[There's the full admission. Kunimi just can't freeze Iwaizumi out when he's being open about his own position... in fact, he's realizing more and more that Iwaizumi's firm, respectful way of pressing for more conversation pretty much causes him to crumble like a poorly-built dam every time.

That level of comfort and perceived safety with someone, especially for Kunimi - that means something. It means a ton. Only one other person has ever given him the same feeling and he's currently lying to that person about Iwaizumi sooooo]

Honestly, he should probably bite the bullet and inform his own best friend about the update soon, but he’s not about to sell Kunimi out to Oikawa without his permission (which is also an excellent excuse to cover up that he himself is afraid to have that conversation).
