[There's the full admission. Kunimi just can't freeze Iwaizumi out when he's being open about his own position... in fact, he's realizing more and more that Iwaizumi's firm, respectful way of pressing for more conversation pretty much causes him to crumble like a poorly-built dam every time.

That level of comfort and perceived safety with someone, especially for Kunimi - that means something. It means a ton. Only one other person has ever given him the same feeling and he's currently lying to that person about Iwaizumi sooooo]

He knows he has all the control here, and he doesn’t want to abuse that for a second. With his feelings also involved though, he doesn’t want to scare Kunimi off either.]

He's supportive, of course, but - anyone would have to admit that he just got some enormous news dropped in his lap, and he's not great at controlling his reactions to anything.]

[It’s understandable, and that’s what Iwaizumi figures is probably happening. Honestly, he should probably bite the bullet and inform his own best friend about the update soon, but he’s not about to sell Kunimi out to Oikawa without his permission (which is also an excellent excuse to cover up that he himself is afraid to have that conversation).
